I began quilting in 2005. Stepping "beyond the block" of traditional quilt patterns and techniques has allowed me to grow as an artist in a medium that is an integral part of who I am. I can communicate an idea by manipulating and mixing the elements of art with fiber. The process can be challenging but thoroughly enjoyable.
