I work to distill my photography and drawings into visually expressive areas of color and contrast. Landscapes, floral still life, lyrics, and phrases are recurring themes in my work. Using commercial, hand-dyed, and painted fabrics, I achieve complexity and texture through fabric choices, paint, hand embroidery, and machine stitching.
